Rooftop / Winter / Sunshine
Now this is my kind of winters day; beautiful sunshine, a slight nip to the air, and my doppelganger dropping by to say hello :-)
Musical Squats
I finally made it to Auto Italia on Queen’s Road last week for a “we’re about to be evicted” party. Rox blew us away with a amazing performance, Monsieur Hovis provided excellent spoken word, there was a forest of christmas trees in the entrance and a weird wooden-framed tent that just about fitted a band + a few audience. Also had to love the car shell with Mario Kart installed. A shame they’ve lost such a good space, I hope the new location on Old Kent Road works out well for them.
Tonight, Ashok are premiering their first music video at the Spike. I’m excited, it’s been far too long since I’ve seen them play.

Just spotted this in the Peckham Flickr group, makes me feel all old-fashioned and xmassy! Photo by Simon Leak
Fall Into Place – Visitors Book
Thanks for your lovely comments on the Fall Into Place exhibition. Video is still awaiting an edit, just trying to find the time! Any editors looking for a project don’t feel shy offering help :-)
We are grateful to the Beautiful Things For Unpretentious People blog for writing a lovely feature on the event:
…I walked up the stated street slightly worried that it was all some kind of hoax and that a bunch of trendy mulleted East London types would jump on me and beat me to death for even thinking myself cool enought to attend their party. But no. Some fairy lights marked the entrance and indeed, there was the ground floor window…
Thanks for coming to my place

We had a lot of fun over the weekend running the Fall Into Place exhibition at my old house. A huge thanks to all the artists, muscians, fairy-light providers and beer drinkers. Writeup, photos and video footage coming as soon as we’ve caught up on some sleep!
