Sometimes it’s good to be reminded that for South London to exist, there must be something North of it. This video has been edited together from over 3,000 photographs and makes me want to ride a nitro-powered doubledecker bus around all night long.
In what seems like a matter of weeks, Sound of Rum formed and have released an album! The lineup is Kate Excentral Tempest on vocals, Ferry Lawrenson on drums & Archie Marsh on guitars. Here’s a track from their album, which is available to buy online.
Catch them this Wednesday 12th at Madam Jo-Jo’s, or for FREE on Monday 17th at the New Cross Inn.
Who doesn’t like rum eh?

This event is a little bit of a fundraiser for a very special event to be held early next year…so please come down and show your support!!!

It’s that time of year again, come one, come ghoul, shake your bones and rattle a pumpkin. Here’s a tune to get you in the mood for Halloween:
Mr Fab and His Bag O’ Heads - Skeleton Crew On The Graveyard Shift
Plenty happening, first up tomorrow World Zombie Day hits the streets of central London.
All Hallow’s Eve falls on a Friday in perfect party fashion. We can recommend Urban75’s Offline Party in Brixton for FREE. Elsewhere I’m DJing at a huge party alongside many other vinyl junkies and live acts, but have been politely asked not to reveal the location. However anyone who’s anyone in Pecknam will know where I’m talking about :-)
True zombies will see it through til Saturday and join us on the Crawl of the Dead V up in town.
Brainnnnsssss…
