Support the Spike

The Spike is back up in the town hall this week on Wednesday @ 6.30pm (meeting starts at 7).They want us to come up with half a million squids by the end august!!!!!
We’re asking for two years to get ourselves organised. We really need a show of strength at the Council Assembly Meeting if we are to have any chance.

Can you please lend support and be at southwark town hall, peckham road (half way between peckham and camberwell) for 6.30 this wednesday 9th, if you can’t make 6.30 please come as soon as you can. Please pass on to anyone interested. the more the merrier. Kids, pets, etc

Cheers Paul (and the Spike Posse) 07903652149

We like the bossa nova

Nouvelle Vague

We saw Nouvelle Vague on South Bank last Sunday, as part of the Coin Street bossa nova festival. They were magical, have an MP3:

Zeep (formerly Smoke City)

Also was pleased to catch Smoke City (who’re now called Zeep) performing Underwater Love. Very apt lyrics for the weather that day!

I Love Peckham festival

I Love Peckham logo

It’s not been a year, surely? Well no, not quite – here’s the slightly-earlier-than-you-may-have-expected I LOVE PECKHAM festival programme. Don’t miss the street party (featuring Needleandthread stage) on Rye Lane/Peckham Square, or the closing event in the Bussey building!
