I have spliced my amputee camera with an working lens from a different camera, allowing me to avoid the Broken Lens of Doom. (which leads to the Cursed Half-hour of Melancholy, via the Pitfall of Delicate Machinery.)
I now have FRANKEN-CAMERA.
