Queens English live, Brixton (video)

Queens English played a great set at the Jamm on Monday, here’s a track from their set. I shot this on a Nikon pocket digital camera - technology is getting crazy! It’s only missing a line-input (sound is from a minidisk desk recording). More video to come, and hopefully an MP3 of the full set.

Update: more video added and there’s some photos here:

Reclaim the Beach!

Reclaim the Beach, London (by chog)

Reclaim the Beach will be having its traditional end of the ’summer’ party on 29th September so come along and bring things - like friends, alcopops, marshmallows, buckets and spades. Get down there early and don’t wait till the pubs close as its an early one and will finish at 1.30am. There will be a bonfire. Oh yes.

Critical Mass bikeride

london critical mass - april 2007 (by overland07)

As always, the last Friday of the month is Critical Mass, the weather forecast is sounding slightly dismal so cross fingers for clear skies and get your chain oiled!

The London Mass meets at 6.00pm on the last Friday of every month on the South Bank under Waterloo Bridge, by the National Film Theatre.

…for The Sassoon Gallery Showcase. Rubbish name, quite a nice event. Got Bogus Gasman playing on the Friday, I’m playing silly bouncy records on Saturday, and some film malarky on the Sunday.

No teenage cokeheads in the toilets like last weekend though, please. We had to queue for ages, moan moan.
