Pecknam residents report ET activity

No alcohol involved (allegedly!)

From South London Press (9 August 2007):
“Stunned star spotters were shocked to see mysterious lights flying above East Dulwich on Saturday, fuelling rumours of secret military experiments or visitors from the space in the area. Lawyer Richard Pringle, 33, of Peckham Rye, was walking home with his flatmate about 11.30pm when he spotted the UFOs rise above the Crystal Palace skyline.”

Afterthought;  would you hire a lawyer called Mr Pringle?

Cupcake Saves Photographette (Warning: contains cable-ties)

Ah the blasted glory of the CLF Weekend leaves my limbs aching, my capillaries in need of a refit, and my brains sufficiently blown my our own Cupcake’s wonderous taste in film.

ALL PRAISE!!

Too zoned by sunday to join the hijinks again, but amazing to see all yous pretty things (Mr Hoivs, Zingaro, Tempest, Daisy, Guys you know who you are) up on the microphone/down on the dancefloor/slumped in an alcoholic stupour on the street.

Let’s do that again!

See you with love and hats soon…photos of CLF madness on their way!

The Weekend Ain’t Over

Yesterday afternoon I was at the CLF Weekender catching some sunny times on the roof with relaxed music from DJs and bands. Headed to Pecknam Square for a while and was amazed to find a sandy beach complete with palm trees, ensuing squeals of delight from the kids (and myself and friends *ahem*). The band Peyote for President played the stage there, they’re worth seeing (but don’t seem to have an online presence..?). Later back at the CLF I subjected the varied crowd to a range of weird and wonderful short films.

Today please do come to the WhatULookin@ exhibition and the FINAL DAY of the CLF Weekender where I will be playing tunes and showing films respectively.
